Yes. If you wish to bring a dog or cat, you shall notify the Agriculture Department of Panama which shall collect the entire animal’s information and the date of its arrival. You shall also need to bring with you a certificate from the Veterinary with information on all of your pet’s updated vaccines and a certificate of the proper local authorities in charge of animals in your country, all duly authenticated. Other types of pets require import licenses, which shall be obtained before your arrival.
The quarantine shall be in your place of residence.
